If you’re looking for a quick weight loss fix this isn’t for you. Please don’t join this programme. The evidence shows quick fixes result in long term weight gain. You should not trust any programme that promises transformational, overnight results they are bad for your physical and psychological health. Aggressive lifestyle changes are for results only and are by nature difficult and uncomfortable to make and even more impossible to sustain. In contrast, this programme helps you by finding things that work for you which sets you up for healthy habits for life.
I don’t believe in a once size fits all approach we are all different, we will all apply the programme in different ways and therefore get different results. If you engage with the programme you will get results.
I do not encourage you to look at weight loss results alone – that would be short-sighted and irresponsible of me. The research has shown that weight loss on the scales is increasingly thought to have a negative impact on your weight loss success, often resulting in food preoccupation, weight cycling between loss and regain, and crucially it can distract you from your personal inherent healthy lifestyle goals. This programme is much more than weight loss alone, I focus on improvements in your habits, confidence, self-esteem and the key skills that will lead to your success.
Each programme differs slightly in terms of its delivery. However, whichever programme you choose, the key materials are emailed direct to your inbox on a weekly basis. You complete it from the comfort of your own home at a time that works best for you. There is no messing about with online log ins and content, everything comes directly to you in bite size, easily digestible packages designed to be minimally burdensome on your lifestyle. The materials are interactive and require some small actions from you on a weekly basis. It should take no longer than 10-15 minutes per week to complete the materials. If you choose the Habit Changer or Deluxe programmes I will also be in touch to arrange your personal consultations.
Additionally, once you set out on your programme you are not alone, I am here to support you with any challenges or struggles you are having – and to reward your successes.
The Mindset Bootcamp
Week 1-4 The Mindset Challenge
You will learn:
- How to set successful goals and make changes that don’t feel overwhelming or difficult but will set you up for success
- Why you failed in the past at weight loss and what steps you need to take to avoid this happening again
- What mindset limitations you need to let go of in order to ensure future confidence, happiness and success
- How to set up your life to avoid temptation and reinforce your healthy lifestyle goals
Week 5-10 The Maintenance Challenge
You will learn:
- How to cope successfully when you fail to stick to your habits
- What your emotional connections with food are, how these are holding you back and what to do about it
- How to set up healthy habits for life
- How to get the support from others to reinforce success
- The top skills of successful weight loss maintainers and how to apply them
No, it is emailed to you in weekly manageable portions. This is a purposeful step by step approach to build your skills, knowledge and confidence throughout the 10 weeks rather than overloading you with information.
Your personal consultations will also be spread out over a period of 3 months with 3 months follow up to allow you time and space to experiment with your new skills in order to learn what works best for you.
There are some issues that an online programme alone cannot solve. Whilst you will receive all the materials included in the The Mindset Bootcamp programme. The Habit Changer programme offers you a number of additional benefits; You will receive 4 x approximately 45 minute one to one consultation calls with Heather (arranged at a time that suits your lifestyle) throughout the course of the programme. The consultation calls specifically tackle the challenges that you feel effect your success the most. Additionally you will receive detailed reports on your weight loss habits, highlighting key target areas for action. You will also be supported in the 3 months following your programme with The Mindset Bootcamp 10 week programme and an additional maintenance planning phone call to support your ongoing success.
The Deluxe programme is the most advanced programme from weighhtlossiq.co.uk. It offers all the benefits of the Habit Changer programme, but with a number of exclusive extras; it is considerably more intensive than the other programmes 6 x 45 minute monthly face to face consultations with Heather over 3 months. With 3 months of follow up support including access to the Mindset Bootcamp, a 1 hour maintenance face to face session and a bespoke maintenance package created to support your specific needs to ensure you see consistent results and safeguard your future weight loss success. You will also be eligable for the temptation tracker. The temptation tracker will give you the vital insight you need into your behaviours (see here for my published research on how to resist temptation). We can then start to establish patterns in order to look at how we tackle these temptations for future success.
Heather will also support Deluxe programme members to nominate a friend or family member of their choice to receive their own Mindset bootcamp package completely free of charge (usual price £99).This is purposeful as social support is known to improve long term behaviour change and by having others you know involved it is likely to reinforce your future success.
